Padmasambhava Mahavira Tibetan Monastery (Jeerang) - 110 km


In 1959, the Chinese invasion and occupation of Tibet compelled approximately 85,000 Tibetans, led by their revered spiritual and political leader, the 14th Dalai Lama, to seek refuge in India and various other locations.
